Birthday Treat Change!

The first grade teachers have decided, as a grade level, to change our birthday treat procedures. Due to a large number of allergies in our grade this year, we will be asking families to send in a "NON-FOOD TREAT". We will be compiling a list of ideas soon. A few ideas right now are: read your child's favorite story to the class, lead a simple craft or possibly some inexpensive toys from Oriental Trading or Dollar Tree. Thank you for your support with this change. 

Curriculum Night

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone had a MAGICAL first day of school today!  It was a busy, busy day!  I wanted to let everyone know that our First Grade Curriculum Night will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 6:30-7:00 p.m.  We will meet in our classroom.  Until then, feel free to email me with any questions you may have and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.  Thanks everyone!

Supply Drop off is Monday, August 22 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at Grace McWayne.   I hope to meet all of you then!  :)
