1V's Ice Bucket Challenge!


Sorry his took me so long to post!  I had a bit of trouble with loading the video...but I finally got it to work!

Mr. Modaff and Mr. Sullivan participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge and our whole class was able to help!  1V students dumped cups of ice cold water on Mr. Modaff and Mr. Sullivan.  The students LOVED participating in this fun event!

This activity helped our class think about how we can help others and directly connected to our school culture goal!

Goodbye Butterflies!


On Friday, October 10 we released our adult butterflies into their natural environment!

This was a bittersweet time for our class because our students have seen them grow since they were baby caterpillar larva only a few days old!



The butterflies loved getting to fly in the warm afternoon sun!
