Goodbye Butterflies!

On Friday, October 10 we released our adult butterflies into their natural environment!

This was a bittersweet time for our class because our students have seen them grow since they were baby caterpillar larva only a few days old!

The butterflies loved getting to fly in the warm afternoon sun!

Thank You Mr. Kone!

Last week we said goodbye to our beloved custodian, Mr. Kone!

We had a school wide assembly to honor Mr. Kone.  Check out some of the photos from Mr. Kone Day!

Mr. Kone was getting all teared up!

Giving our gifts to Mr. Kone...

Thank you Mr. Kone!

Our Painted lady Butterfly Larvae Are Here!

Our Larvae are Here!

We are learning all about insects and their life cycles.   We will get to see our Painted Lady Butterfly larvae grow and change into butterflies!

As your students about how much they have changed already!
